GORILLA FUND

FIGHTING FUND

All Gorilla species are under threat.  Mountain Gorillas number less than 650.  They are threatened by poaching and loss of habitat.  A FIGHTING FUND from sales of Gorilla Wines has been established to help combat their decline.

A portion of the fund raised from Gorilla Wines will be given to a variety of Gorilla charities, as part of the Gorilla Fund.

ADOPT A GORILLA

In addition, the Company behind Gorilla Wines has adopted a Gorilla, through the Gorilla Organization, as part of the contribution towards the FIGHTING FUND.  With your help, we would like to extend this adoption process with funds raised.

Amy Akago (nicknamed Grillo)

Amy was named Akago, which means ‘unlucky’, after she caught her arm in a snare when she was just three years old.  She was born on 15th March 1994 into the Sabinyo Birth Group, which ranges in the saddle area between the Sabinyo and Visoke volcanoes.
